How do I report my child's absence?

To report an absence, log into Powerschool and follow the steps below:

  1. Make sure the correct student is selected (if you have multiple children, their names will appear at the top).

  2. Navigate to Attendance Monitor.

  3. Select Report New Attendance.

  4. Enter the absence date(s). If reporting only one day, enter the start date and leave the second date field blank.

  5. Select the reason for the absence.

  6. Indicate whether the absence is for the entire day.

  7. Enter any additional explanation or notes.

  8. Click Submit.

You can also call the main school office number on the day of the absence, and you can leave a voicemail if the office is not yet open.

Provide your child's name, grade, and reason for absence. If you know in advance, you may also contact the office the day before.
