Yes. Before selecting Escalated, select Actions > Follow Ticket, the ticket will stay in your Following view and you will receive notifications around ticket updates.
Escalating will unassign you and remove the ticket from your New or In Progress views, but because you're following it, it will still show in your Following view and you'll keep getting notifications about updates.
