Should I send emails from the ticket or from the guardian/student record?

Always send emails from the ticket, not from the guardian or student record. Activity flows from the ticket to the guardian, not the other way around, so working from the ticket keeps everything connected. Activity logged directly on a guardian record does not automatically flow to tickets, since a guardian may have many tickets.
